Walmart API

Walmart API for developers — search Walmart products and get product details, prices, stock, ratings, sellers, and fulfillment as JSON. A Walmart scraper API with no setup, $0.01 per call.

The YepAPI Walmart API turns walmart.com into clean JSON: search results with prices, ratings, sellers, and sponsored flags, and full product pages with specifications, images, variants, and delivery / pickup availability. It works like a Walmart scraper API without the scraping — no proxies, no browser, no Walmart seller or affiliate account. You only need your YepAPI key, and every call is a flat $0.01.

Endpoints

EndpointCostWhat it returns
POST /v1/walmart/search$0.01Walmart Search API — ~40–60 products per page for any keyword, with sort, price range, and delivery-speed filters
POST /v1/walmart/product$0.01Walmart Product API — full details for one item by ID or URL: price, strikethrough price, UPC, specs, images, variants, seller, stock, and fulfillment

What you can build

  • Walmart price tracking — poll the Walmart Product API for price, price_strikethrough (rollback / sale), and out_of_stock, and alert on changes. It works as a Walmart price API for repricers and deal sites.
  • Price comparison — search Walmart and Amazon for the same query and match products by title or UPC (gtin).
  • Search rank and share-of-shelf — track where your products (and sponsored placements) land in Walmart search for your keywords.
  • Local availability — pass a zip or store_id to see prices, stock, and pickup / delivery options for a specific area or store.

Quick example

const res = await fetch('https://api.yepapi.com/v1/walmart/search', {
  method: 'POST',
  headers: {
    'x-api-key': 'YOUR_API_KEY',
    'Content-Type': 'application/json',
  },
  body: JSON.stringify({ query: 'air fryer', sort: 'best_seller', zip: '10001' }),
});
const { data } = await res.json();
for (const p of data.products) console.log(p.position, p.title, p.price);

Pass any products[].id (or the url) to /v1/walmart/product for the full product page.

Good to know

  • US only. Data comes from walmart.com; prices are in USD.
  • Location. Both endpoints accept zip (5-digit US ZIP) and store_id (numeric Walmart store ID). Without them, Walmart picks a default location; search responses tell you which in data.location.
  • Field casing. Responses keep snake_case keys (rating_count, out_of_stock, seller_name), like the Amazon and Reddit APIs.
  • Caching. Search results are cached for 30 minutes and product pages for 6 hours.
  • Billing. Failed calls — including "no results" and "product not found" 404s — are free.
