The Reddit User API returns a public Reddit profile: total, post, and comment karma, account creation date, avatar and banner, bio, follower count, and flags such as verified email, Premium, moderator, and employee. Caching

Responses are cached for 1 hour.

Errors

`404`	`NOT_FOUND`	User not found, suspended, or deleted
`429`	`RATE_LIMITED_UPSTREAM`	Too many requests in a short burst — retry after a few seconds
`502`	`UPSTREAM_ERROR`	Temporary problem fetching data from Reddit — retry

Failed calls are not charged.
